Skyler Cloyd, from Friendswood, Texas, is a senior at Texas Christian University pursuing a degree in music theory and composition. A pianist and percussionist, he has been involved in choir, theatre, and jazz band. At TCU, Skyler continues to grow as a musician through his studies in piano and organ and through collaborative performance. His compositions have been performed by fellow students, including one selected for performance at ClarinetFest in summer 2025.

Skyler is also committed to service and participates in community initiatives through the University Christian Church Leadership Team and the TCU Society of Composers. His volunteer leadership project, Save the Music!, featured a T-shirt fundraiser. Looking ahead, he is preparing to apply to graduate school and perform his undergraduate composition recital.
