Marissa Sipe is a first-generation college student at Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri. She is pursuing degrees in forensic science, with an emphasis in biology, and molecular biology, along with a minor in criminal justice and a certificate in crime scene investigation. The youngest of seven children, Marissa graduated summa cum laude from St. Charles High School, where she captained the dance team and participated in the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta. 

At Columbia College, Marissa is a captain of the collegiate dance team, a first-year mentor, and president of the Forensic Science Club. She also volunteers at a regional food bank in Columbia, continuing service she began at a food bank in her hometown. An adventurous traveler, Marissa completed a semester abroad in Lüneburg, Germany. She plans to build a career helping solve crimes while combining her sense of adventure with her desire to serve the community.
