Austin is a current undergraduate college student and rising sophomore at the University of Lynchburg. Before attending the University of Lynchburg, he graduated from Onward Christian Academy in Rustburg, VA. He is currently majoring in Biology (Biomedical Emphasis), Chemistry, and Mathematics. He is active in the Bonner Leadership Program, Theoria Philosophy, Pre-Health, and The National Society of Leadership and Success. He often volunteers at local non-profits, however, he is particularly focused on assisting at Brook Hill Farm, a therapeutic riding organization for both horses and people. In the past, particularly during summer and winter breaks, he has worked with local robotic camps, dental offices, food banks, and much more.

Long term, his goal is to incorporate his developing skills as a leader – traits such as empathy, courage, advocacy, integrity, and innovation – in addition to his undergraduate education as a future physician-scientist focused on research and medical care for those struggling to receive proper treatments.
