Aanika Gillett Graduate Scholar

Aanika Gillett – Aanika has lived in Oklahoma City almost her entire life. She graduated from Harding Fine Arts High School, where she developed a love for photography. Following High School, Aanika attended Culver-Stockton College in Canton, MO, a Disciples-affiliated college. While majoring in Religion and Philosophy at Culver-Strockton, Aanika joined the Sigma Kappa Sorority and served as Vice-President of Alumni Relations. Aanika was an active member of Canton Christian Church (DOC) and served as an intern for one semester. During her last year of college, Aanika served as a Chaplain’s Intern at OU Medical Center. This opportunity cemented her call to serve as a hospital Chaplain. Aanika has one more year at Phillips Theological Seminary. At Phillips, she participates in worship on Tuesdays and enjoys learning from her fellow students and Professors. Aanika will continue her Ministry at First Christian Church in El Reno this year. Following graduation and ordination, Aanika hopes to begin her ministry as a Chaplain in a local hospital.
