D.O.D 01/26/2014 - Bobby Gene Sanders, Jr., age 69, of Mena, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014 in Mena.

He was born March 2, 1944 to Bobby Gene Sanders, Sr. and to the late Betty Bell Sanders in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He was happily married to Vicki McEntire. Bobby attended Phillips University where he earned a degree in accounting. He also held a Juris Doctorate and was a special agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation from 1969 to 1975. He was a Senior Vice President with First National Bank for 28 years. Bobby was well loved in his community and by his family and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by:

Wife: Vicki Sanders of the home

Children: Rob Sanders and wife Brooke of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin
Lori Sullivan of Mena, Arkansas
Natalie Graumann and husband Kyle of Little Rock, Arkansas
Matthew Wallis and wife Carrie of Lonoke, Arkansas

Grandchildren: Jackson and Sarah Sullivan, Julia Sanders, Cas and Eliza Graumann,
and Amelia, Theo and Lilly Wallis

Brother: Michael Sanders and wife Peggy of Ft. Smith, Arkansas

Sister: Jayne Hughes of Ft. Smith, Arkansas

Several nieces and nephews and a host of friends too great to mention.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Sanders.

Bobby was sent for cremation under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. A visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Beasley-Wood Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association and the Mena Bearcat Foundation.
