D.O.D 08/28/2013 - Maggie Sue Rundell Noland was born on May 13, 1938, in Ft. Worth, Texas.
She was the only child of Perry Alonzo Rundell and Ina Gardner Rundell. She was raised near Bryson, Texas, and graduated from Bryson High School, where she was valedictorian of her senior class, a cheerleader, a member of the band and secretary to the superintendent.
Maggie attended Phillips University, Enid, Oklahoma, where she met Wilbur Dean Noland. She stepped on his toe in an enrollment line. Wilbur has always wondered if it was on purpose. They were married on December 30, 1956, in Waukomis, Oklahoma.
Maggie worked for the physical plant department at Oklahoma State University from 1962 until 1965, when Wilbur graduated. Then she returned to work at OSU in 1978 when Wilbur went to graduate school. She retired as a senior clerk from the OSU purchasing department of accounting.
After their retirement in 1996, Maggie and Wilbur lived full-time in their RV for thirteen years. They traveled from the Pacific to the Atlantic and from Mexico to Canada. They made many friends in their travels.
Maggie had a daughter, Tammy Jo Noland, and a son, Marty Joe Noland. She died July 28, 2013.
