Johnson, Ralph C.B.S. 1963

D.O.D 07/02/2013 - Ralph Johnson was born on January 10, 1939 in Parkville, Missouri to Orvel and Lovera Johnson.

Ralph and his wife, Jean (Milligan) met at Philips University in 1960 and graduated with B.S. degrees in 1963. He and Jean married in 1962 and moved to Colorado Springs in 1963 where they both became teachers in the Widefield school district. He was a high school teacher and coach for 32 years.

He was a devoted member of First Presbyterian Church for 49 years where he served as an usher the entire time. He was also an elder, deacon and longtime member of the Pathfinders Sunday School class. Ralph dedicated his life to being a great husband, father and grandfather. He will be remembered as a man of honor, a friend to everyone he met, a sports enthusiast with a particular passion for tennis, basketball, football and golf, a teller of jokes and stories and most of all, a devoted family man.

Ralph had five daughters: Elizabeth Collins, Ay Owens, Stephanie Halpin, Bradley Johnson, and Sarah Bagley. He died July 2, 2013.
