D.O.D 01/20/2013 - Judy “Nana” Winchester, Jan. 20, 2013.

She was born Judith Ellen Irey on Oct. 30, 1941, to the late Ray and Esther Irey, in Marksville, La.

Judy graduated from Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma, with a B.S. degree in 1974 and a M.Ed. in education in 1980.

Judy taught in the North Enid School District for 27 years. She is loved and remembered by decades of students and their parents.

After her retirement in 2001, Judy continued with her passion for children and education by working in the Enid School District right up until her untimely passing.

Judy loved to spend time with her family and was affectionately known as Nana to her grandchildren. She was involved with her community and was a tremendous friend to all she came to know. She touched the lives of hundreds of families in her lifetime.

Judy had two children, Katherine Stevens and Gregg Winchester. She died January 20, 2013
