D.O.D 09/2012 - Mary Abraham Langston, 87, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at her home. She was born July 30, 1925 in New Castle, PA, the daughter of David and Mary Deba (Yeseen) Abraham. Mary received her Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Education from Phillips University, Enid, OK and received a Master’s Degree in Education from Washburn University. She was an Elder Emeritus of West Side Christian Church, Topeka. Mary married The Rev. Dr. Robert A. Langston, Jr., on August 13, 1953. He survives of the home. Other survivors include two children, David (Kathy) Langston, Tulsa, OK and their children, Joshua (Robyn) Langston, Britney (Mark) Ramkaran, and Chance and Aysia Watson and Deba (David) Brant, Topeka and their children, Samantha, John and Alexandria Brant; and 6 great-grandchildren. | |
