D.O.D 03/04/2012 - Clifford Wayne Slovacek, 89, loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, veteran, and friend to many, went to be with his Lord and joined his beloved wife of 59 years, Marja Faye, on Sunday, March 4, 2012. Wayne was born on October 28, 1922 in Ponca City, Oklahoma, to Jennie and Joseph Slovacek. Wayne served his country with pride in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1942 until his discharge in 1946 with the rank of 2nd Lieutenant. He graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma. | |
