D.O.D 03/16/2012 - Rev. Joe Samuels, born July 1, 1920, died March 16, 2012. From his graduation from Phillips in 1942, he served as minister in Christian Churches, mostly in Oklahoma and Kansas. For 14 years he was minister of University Place Christian Church in Oklahoma City. His wife, Helen Mae Lambertson preceded him in death. Joe was 91 years old. A daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Dustin Schuler, survive him. Joe’s funeral was at First Christian Church, Edmond on March 20, 2012. (THANK YOU BOB GARTMAN) | |
